MICHAEL NEVES

Michael Neves grew up in Hilmar, Calif. and currently resides in Chowchilla. Growing up he was no stranger to the dairy industry, on his free time he was always doing something related to dairy cattle. He was very involved in showing and judging dairy cattle in 4-H, FFA and throughout college. Michael attended California State University, Fresno and majored in Agriculture Business Management with a minored in Animal Science with an emphasis is Dairy Science. While at Fresno State he was very involved in the dairy program. He served as the president of the dairy club, chairman of the Red Wave Dairy Sale, herdsman for the University dairy, and was also a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. 

After graduating from Fresno State, Michael knew he wanted to make an impact in the dairy industry, so he accepted a position with Animal Health Vision as a Farm Advisor to bring innovative and sustainable solutions from Europe to US to be able to help farmers overcome animal health obstacles. 

He is currently a member of the Young Dairy Leader Institute. YDLI seeks to attract the brightest and most engaged young adults in the industry from across North America and boasts over 600 alumni since the program’s inception in 1993. In his free time Michael enjoys competing in cattle shows at various levels and traveling to new destinations.
