Pablo Descole
Pablo Descole was born and raised in Argentina. After receiving a Veterinary degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires in 2009, he became the herd manager of a 3000 free-stall barn dairy in Santa Fe. In 2011 he spent 3 months in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan learning from large dairy operations. Back in Argentina he worked assessing health and reproduction in Buenos Aires and Entre Rios, until mid-2012 when he joined Zoetis Argentina. His responsibilities when he was hired included technical support to producers in areas of transition cows, reproduction, and growing heifers. In 2014 he also took over the management of Key Accounts and in 2015 he launched the Zoetis milk quality program. By the end of 2015 he finished a Master in Agribusiness from Universidad Austral. In 2018, he joined Zoetis’ US Northeast team, working with large herds across the Northeast, troubleshooting health, reproduction, and genetics. Due to his passion and curiosity for process management and troubleshooting, he obtained a Lean Six-Sigma Black Belt certification in 2021 and is a master’s program candidate in Veterinary Science at Illinois University. Pablo and his wife Elisa are raising their children, Mateo and Sophia, in Baldwinsville, New York.
