Dr. Alex Scanavez brings more than 16 years of experience serving the dairy industry, with specialized expertise in consulting for multi-site dairy operations throughout the Midwest. He works closely with progressive dairy producers to improve profitability by integrating efficiencies across nutrition, transition cow management, cow comfort, reproductive performance, and overall herd health.

Known for his data-driven approach, Alex helps producers make informed management decisions that drive measurable results and strengthen long-term business performance. He believes that successful solutions begin with understanding each operation’s unique challenges and opportunities, partnering with clients to align strategies with both their immediate needs and long-term goals.

Alex is passionate about helping forward-thinking dairy producers build more profitable, efficient, and sustainable operations. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and Ph.D. from Kansas State University, where his research focused on the effects of heat stress during the dry period on cow health, production, and reproductive performance.

Alex resides in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with his wife and two sons.
