COLE Bettencourt
Cole grew up in Central California raising horses and cattle with his family. At an early age, Cole began riding horses and team roping. Throughout his childhood he competed in many animal shows and judging contests through 4-H & FFA, which sparked his love for the dairy industry.
In 2005, Cole earned his AS degree in Dairy Science from Modesto Junior College. He then transferred to Cornell University graduating in 2007 with his BS in ruminant nutrition. After graduation he got a job managing a 3,000 cow jersey dairy back in Central California. In 2008, he accepted a position at A.L. Gilbert feed company as a salesmen-animal nutritionist to purse his true passion of ruminant nutrition. He would later promote to sales manager at A.L. Gilbert. Cole has 13 years of experience in ruminant nutrition, marketing and sales. He looks forward to utilizing his expertise to help producers efficiently feed their herd to maximize cash flow while maintaining optimal cow health. Cole strongly believes a prosperous cow develops from a healthy calf. He resides in Turlock, California with his wife Afton, sons Gage, Kent, and two daughters Blake and Reid.
