Michelle Aguilar was born and raised outside of Washington D.C. and was first introduced to dairy cattle during her undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech. Michelle completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Dairy Science with an emphasis in dairy nutrition from Virginia Tech. Michelle worked for a large feed company from 2016 to 2023 in a role as a technical support specialist. Her responsibilities during that time included technical support to a team of dairy nutritionists and dairy producers in the areas of nutrition, management, and employee training. Her role in technical support and her fluency in Spanish allowed her to work closely with nutritional teams, farm owners, and farm employees all over the United States. Michelle’s passion to collaborate with larger commercial dairy herds in the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast regions led her to Progressive Dairy Solutions in 2023. She is excited and looking forward to consulting with more dairy producers along the east coast regarding their nutritional and management programs.
